Big week. You can sign in now, every boss leaves you a souvenir, Moonside finally glows, and the first ten minutes got a whole lot friendlier.

Sign in, keep your game
You can still jump straight in, no account needed. If you play as a guest, the game now tells you the truth: your save lives in that browser, so clearing it or switching devices loses it.
Want it kept safe? Sign in with your email. You get a code, no password, and your game follows you to any device.
What you see when you start a new game without signing in.
Boss Prints
Beat a story boss and the game makes you a print: a haunted photograph of that boss, ghosted into a collage, with the party you actually fought it with standing in the shot.
There are 59 of them, and no two players get the same one. When yours is ready, a little notice pops up with View print and View album.
Sign in and they go in your album for good.
A print from the very first fight, outside MONS LINK.
Moonside glows
Moonside's neon actually lights up now, with real glow on the streets. If your browser can't handle it, the game leaves it off, and you can switch it off yourself any time in Status > Lighting.
Moonside's music plays across all of Moonside now, too. And one regular who'd been walking around in a boss's outfit finally changed clothes.
A friendlier first ten minutes
We ran nine rounds of first-time-player testing on the opening and fixed what tripped people up.
Hold X to skip the prologue, same as the dream.
The static on the title screen clears in about two seconds, so it stops looking like your screen broke.
Two locals explain the words everyone asked about. A kid who just got quizzed by a Drifella explains Attestation. A dad whose son put on the milady explains milady.
Clearer directions to the MONS LINK arcade, fewer spots to get wedged, and no more getting teleported just for lining up with a door.
Battle results stay on screen long enough to read, even if you mash.
Mashing through the title won't skip past the menu anymore.
The kid and the dad, on the walk into Morningside.
Everyone looks right
Characters are EarthBound-sized, crowds are thinner, nobody shares a face with the person next to them, and the last of the blurry art is gone.
People stand behind trees, umbrellas and awnings instead of on top of them. The Burglin Park market tent was the worst offender.
The 142 NFT folks who introduce themselves around the world now wear the NFT they say they are, spelled the way the collection spells it. Yes, BPD DRaiNERS.
Every Card NFT is named from its own traits.
New Streakers battle backgrounds, new DiJared sprites, and about 55 repaired sprites.
Smaller cleanup all over the map: seams between areas, stale signs, invisible NPCs, smudges in the sky.
The Burglin Park tent, before and after.
On your phone
Turn your phone sideways and the game keeps up. You can also look at items in Goods without using them.
